I retired in 1993. My wife tried to get me to go to the doctor for screenings and check-ups. I didn’t listen and of course my wife was right. Dr. Kovalcik diagnosed me with cancer. I went through radiation to shrink the tumor, which worked. Dr. Kovalcik is a very good doctor; he knows what he’s doing. I have the utmost respect for him. He’s a nice man and he’s easy to talk to. He is a great doctor; I’m living proof of that.

Prevention is very important because without it, you have to go through what I did. I won’t wish that on anyone.
