I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 12 years ago. Six years ago, one doctor gave up on me. He told me to stop the chemotherapy and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time. Dr. Shabazz talked to me and told me he could help. If it weren’t for Dr. Shabazz, I wouldn’t be here today. That’s how strongly I feel about him. He is very concerned about his patients. He tells me everything that is going on with multiple myeloma that may help me. I’ll do anything he tells me to do. Dr. Shabazz and I have a good relationship. He’s really concerned about his patients. If something happens to one of us, he gets upset.

If it weren’t for the care Dr. Shabazz gave me, and the concern he had for me, I know I wouldn’t be here today.
