A nurse navigator is a patient educator, advocate and care coordinator who meets with patients as soon as they have a possible cancer diagnosis and helps coordinate further testing. They have distinct knowledge of the health system, the doctors who will partner in your care in addition to your unique needs. Each nurse navigator is exquisitely equipped to work as your advocate. In doing so, they act as more than just a coordinator of services and schedules, they become your true north; a compass that can help you stay focused, grounded and most importantly, healthy. Our certified nurse navigators are registered nurses who specialize in oncology.
