Baher A Basta, MD Internal Medicine

Dr. Basta received his undergraduate degree from the Univesity of London, England, and his medical degree from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine. He did his internal medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and was given an academic appointment as Instructor of Medicine and Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at EVMS. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association and is currently board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Nikki L Graves, MD Family Medicine

Dr. Graves completed a medical degree at the University of North Carolina Medical School. She did an internship at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in South Carolina. Dr. Graves comes to Bon Secours from the University of South Florida, where she recently completed a residency in family medicine. Prior to this, Dr. Graves served as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy. She was a general medical officer, providing primary care and acute care at the Branch Medical Clinic at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego. She also served as medical officer and department head for the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five at Port Hueneme, California. In addition to her medical training, she has completed a number of military training courses.

Dr. Graves is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women’s Association and the National Medical Association

Karen Rush, MD Family Medicine

Dr. Rush is a licensed family physician. She received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, and completed her residency at Portsmouth Family Medicine. Dr. Rush is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
