In the spirit of Bon Secours, the Institute provides the innovative, patient-centered care the region has come to expect from our health system. It expands our entire continuum of cardiology services to meet our community's growing need for heart and vascular care. It brings advanced cardiac care to Western Hampton Roads, which ranks highest for cardiovascular disease and death in an eight-state region.
The Institute will provide area patients with many comforts. They'll know they have access to the latest technologies and tools to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. And that they're in the care of an experienced and compassionate team of, cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, nurses and technologists, who work in partnership with their primary care physician. The Institute features two new open-heart surgery and cardiothoracic operating rooms and a second state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab. Enhancing Bon Secours' continuum of cardiovascular inpatient and outpatient services already in place.
