Annual Medical Symposium and Columbia Grand Rounds

One of the benefits of the Columbia University partnership is access to continuing medical education. In October 2005, the Bon Secours Heart Institute and Columbia University co-sponsored the first annual Medical Symposium in Portsmouth for practitioners from the tri-state area. Led by top surgeons at Columbia University, the 2005 Medical Symposium provided CME credits for physicians in a variety of cardiology-related areas.

Throughout the year, Columbia Grand Rounds will provide timely updates and discussion of medical and surgical topics to Bon Secours physicians through a dedicated video link.
