Emergency Protocols
Heart disease is a major cause of emergency department visits and account for a high percentage of hospital admissions. The emergency teams in place at Bon Secours hospitals are experts in responding to heart attacks and other acute cardiac events. To ensure that appropriate care begins without delay, Bon Secours physicians have written standing orders for patients who present with acute ST elevation, chest pain and acute coronary syndrome.
